These insects are raised on farms in the Amazon Jungle. Growing and beautiful, they live out the entity of their natural life cycle. Once their lifecycle is complete, they are collected by farmers and placed in frames by local artisans. These frames create a sustainable eco-system and provide fair income for the artisans and their families. Each frame is labeled by a licensed biologist with the scientific name of the insects . All the insects used in these frames are all in common families AND ARE NOT ENDANGERED SPECIES. The frames look best when hung near natural light, but it is recommended to keep them out of direct sunlight and/or moist environments. Each specimen is a one of a kind individuals species, so size shape and color may have slight variations from the insect pictured.
